We do not currently support products that are behind a "black curtain" but we do track adult items and keep them from being suggested to other users or from appearing on our Deals page.

• We don't currently purge price history but for performance reasons we only let you graph up to three (3) years of data.

• Free accounts can add products from standard supported retailers.
• Some difficult or premium retailers require VIP access because they need more expensive monitoring technology, advanced parsing, or do not offset monitoring costs through commissions.
• VIP members can request new retailer support, and we make our best effort to integrate those retailers when technically practical.

• Full-site SSL using TLS 1.2 or higher is required for any retailer integrated with NotifyPrice.

• Standard supported retailer products are checked hourly.
• Premium or difficult retailer products are typically checked daily for VIP users.
• New watches are checked when they are added whenever possible.
• If a retailer returns an error, bot challenge, missing price, proxy failure, or other temporary problem, NotifyPrice automatically retries according to the type of issue.
• Items that are no longer actively watched may move to a lower-frequency inactive schedule.
• If an item is not watched by any user for more than six months, it may be placed inactive or stopped completely.

Yes. Unlike our competitors, we are able to track the price and give you notifications for Amazon Kindle e-books.

NotifyPrice records the price a shopper must pay for the smallest purchase quantity offered as a one-time purchase. Where the product page makes them available to our monitoring, we include membership discounts, automatically applied promotions, and instant coupons that reduce the price at purchase.

We do not subtract deferred cash back or value received after purchase, such as mail-in or online rebates, cash-back portals, credit-card rewards, loyalty points, store credit, or a gift card earned for a future purchase. Those offers can require eligibility, enrollment, a claim, approval, or waiting, and the benefit may not be cash. For a Menards-style mail-in rebate, NotifyPrice shows the price paid at purchase before the rebate.

An "instant rebate" is included only when it reduces the current transaction price immediately. Shipping is excluded; applicable VAT is included wherever possible.

Yes, there are two paths.

If the retailer supports this on their URL:

• Home Depot uses store with their actual store numbers visible from their store finder page.

If NotifyPrice supports geographic targeting for that particular retailer (not availabile on the free tier):

• Amazon Kindle will take the postal code from your Account page and use it monitor the product.

We subtract instant coupons and automatic discounts when they lower the amount due for the current purchase. An instant rebate counts when it is applied immediately.

We do not subtract cash back, mail-in or online rebates, rewards, points, store credit, or future gift cards received after purchase. For example, an advertised "after mail-in rebate" or Menards-style rebate price is not the price NotifyPrice records because the shopper pays more at purchase and must claim the benefit later.

If we missed an instant coupon or discount, please let us know. Next to the item on your Watching page, select the red flag. You can also select "Report a Problem" directly from the product page.

• Navigate to the list that you want to enable the feature on.
• Click the settings icon next to your list name in the top dropdown box.
• Find the List Visibility section and turn on the Public List and Gift Registry checkboxes
  • Copy and share the link provided in that section to whomever you would to invite OR
  • Invite participants by email using the Collaborate feature

Adaptive pricing is when a retailer changes the price, availability, delivery options, or promotions shown for a product based on context such as the shopper’s delivery location, nearby inventory, local competition, demand, or shipping costs. That means the same product page can show a different result after a location is selected.

For supported retailers, NotifyPrice’s adaptive price targeting can monitor a watched product for a specific postal or ZIP code. A postal code is usually more precise than city-level targeting because one city can span several delivery or pricing zones. If a retailer identifies locations by store number in its product URL, NotifyPrice can monitor that store-specific URL instead. Retailer support varies.

• The target is isolated to the individual watched product, so one location does not carry over to another watch.
• For adaptive retailer checks, NotifyPrice verifies that the retailer accepted the requested location before recording the result.
• NotifyPrice monitors 17.53 million price points across 3,449 retailers in 79 countries (coverage data as of 9/19/2026).
• Adaptive price targeting is included with VIP and B2B plans.

Yes. For supported price comparison sites, paste the public product-comparison page into NotifyPrice just as you would a single product URL.

Rather than monitoring the price displayed by the comparison site, NotifyPrice follows the retailer or store offers on the page and adds each supported merchant product URL as its own watch. Those offers stay linked as the same product so they can be managed and compared together. They are added to the category you are currently using, or Uncategorized if no category is selected; we do not create a separate wishlist category for the comparison page.

A comparison-page import is not a continuously synced wishlist, so later changes to the offers shown on that page will not automatically add or remove watches. Support varies by comparison site and by the retailers it links to. The comparison page and its store offers must be publicly accessible, and each merchant remains subject to NotifyPrice's normal retailer availability and plan requirements. If a comparison site is not recognized, you can add the individual retailer URLs or contact support@notifyprice.com to request support.

Usually not. Some retailers—including sites that describe their login barrier as an “iron door” or “iron curtain”—require membership before showing product details or prices. NotifyPrice cannot reliably monitor these pages because access may be account-specific and login sessions expire. NotifyPrice does not request or store retailer credentials. We may reconsider a retailer if it provides a public or authorized API.
